Dr. Brent Murphy - Oculofacial Plastic Surgeon

Meet Dr. Brent Murphy

Dr. Murphy is one of only a few Oculofacial plastic surgeons in the world certified by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Board of Ophthalmology, and the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery. He has over 24 years of experience and has performed tens of thousands of successful procedures. Dr. Murphy has taught in both the academic and community arenas. He has published papers on facial rejuvenation, aesthetic eyelid surgery, new technologies in cosmetic surgery, and more. Dr. Murphy has been a guest lecturer at many national and international medical meetings in the areas of cosmetic, laser, and reconstructive surgery. Active in community service, he is most proud of his humanitarian work teaching lacrimal surgery to surgeons in Guatemala. This allowed the newly trained surgeons to treat people with blocked tear ducts who were also blind due to cataracts. Without the tear duct surgery, thousands of patients could not have had vision-saving cataract surgery.
